Most popular writer Late Humayun Ahmed was born on 13 November 1948 in Mohongonj, Netrokona. His father was Faizur Rahman Ahmed is a police officer He killed by Pakistani military during the liberation war of Bangladesh in 1971 , and His mother was Ayesha Foyez. Humayun are younger Brother Muhammed Zafar Iqbal is the university professor. He is also a writer of mostly science fiction genre and a newspaper columnist. Any other brothers Ahsan Habib is a artist, the editor of Unmad and a cartoon magazine. Humayun Ahmed was married in 1973 by Gultekin.They had three daughters Nova Ahmed, Sheela Ahmed, Bipasha Ahmed and only son Nuhash Ahmed. Ahmed have an affair with Meher Afroz Shaon from the middle of the 1990. Shaon is a TV actress and then friend of his daughter Sheela Ahmed . Ahmed divorced Gultekin Later in 2003 and married Shaon in 2005. From the Ahmed-Shaon had two sons, Nishad and Ninit In 2011. Ahmed had been diagnosed with colorectal cancer. He died on 19th July 2012 at Bellevue Hospital in New York City. He was buried in Nuhash Polli in 1987. Humayun Ahmed founded an manor called Nuhash Polli near Pijulia village, in Gazipur District. Which grew to cover 40 bigha.
